Pete, thanks for the update, export to PVR is an awesome addition – I’ll be trying this out over the weekend 🙂
Cheers

Hi Pete,
Thanks for the update and bug fix. I can confirm it working in 1.19.
Cheers

Just to say that I also use TimelineFX purely for iPhone/iPod Touch development and a really nice feature would be a straight export to PVR (high quality) 🙂

Which width/height settings are you using specifically? And are you saying it only messes up when you actually export, or that autofit just doesn’t work before that?
Thanks!
Sorry Peter – missed this one.
Basically if I manually enter the values into the boxes e.g. 128 x 128 and hit autofit then it doesn’t resize the effect. If I press the +/- buttons then they work with autofit.
I have some more information 🙂
It is when you manually enter the width/height values that the autofit fails. If I use the “+/-” buttons then it works a treat.

Hi Peter,
I’m having problems with 1.17 getting the autofit to work – it seems to ignore any width/height settings I use when I export as an animation and goes with the “preferred” size.
Any thoughts?

Scott
Thanks Pete
I’ve sorted the problem by adjusting the animation frames, width and height, but I do end up with blank frames on the shorter animations.
For now though I’m okay.

Hi Peter,
I’m about to use several of your effects in an upcoming iPhone game that I have developed. In order to maximise performance on the iPhone I really need to compress to PVRTC format, however, all images must be power of 2 and height == width. I’m struggling a bit with the export animation to make the resultant images have the same width and height.
Is there something I can do to force this please?
Thanks
Scott
Hi,
I’d just thought I’d post and say what an excellent product this is and the effects libraries are fantastic – please keep enhancing.
Thanks
Scott
