So the timeline is described by the Frame = 0.0000 & Frame = 1.0000, etc, etc. Makes sense. I can change the capabilities overtime, but I’ll have to manage that myself. Which isn’t an issue really.
I’m weighing in the pros and cons of creating the stuff I need in iOS with CAEmitterLayer or trying to tie in TimeLineFX so I can create them there and just “wire them up” so to speak, but i’m afraid there will be inconsistencies because of some missing features in iOS’s CAEmitterLayer…. With my next game I’ll pick an engine that supports TimelineFX or something like it so I don’t have to worry about it.
