imported_peterigzParticipantwhat type of a child particle is it. Is it relative to the parent? If it is then it’s movement will be affected by how fast it’s parent is moving.
imported_peterigzParticipantSorry I never got a chance to look at this, I’ve just started a new job and have been ultra busy! Glad you found a solution though 😀

imported_peterigzParticipanthmm that’s very strange! 😯 it could be something to do with windows 7 and protecting stuff in the program files folder or something. I would try loading it in the editor and saving it to another location such as my documents or on the desktop, see if that helps.
imported_peterigzParticipanthmm, unless an action is an image format of some sort you won’t be able to import it. Timeline FX doesn’t have any kind of integration like that with after effects.
imported_peterigzParticipantHi, this shouldn’t be a problem to implement, I am busy with an unrelated project at the moment, but I’ll definitely include it in the next update.
imported_peterigzParticipantThe only reason I can think is if your config file has been deleted or damaged somehow. you should be able to re-register again without problems, it’s the first I’ve heard of it happening though, very odd!
imported_peterigzParticipantOne problem I can see is that there are no shapes in the library, were they deleted?
Secondly, some of the global graphs are set to 0 such as life and size which will affect all particles spawn, set them to 1 or there about and that should help.
imported_peterigzParticipantHi,
that sounds odd, do you know what frame size you had for your animation?
imported_peterigzParticipantMost measurements are in pixels or pixels per second, and I’ve never really thought about measuring things in frames, I guess that’s just me maybe taking a more programming view then an artists view to things? 🙂
imported_peterigzParticipantHi, .eff files are basically zip files, so just open an .eff file in a zip manager and you’ll find all the particle shapes in there.
imported_peterigzParticipantLooks good Dave, thanks for pointing people back here!
Yes,maybe soon I can look at a module on monkey for TimelineFX 🙂
imported_peterigzParticipantDid you get your license ok yet? Sending out licenses is handled automatically by my payment processor, sometimes they verify payment first depending on how you pay which can delay things but it should go through fairly quickly none the less.
imported_peterigzParticipantThanks for the feedback and glad you like the editor 🙂
The site is usually very fast, so you might have had some bad luck there, maybe the server was under a heavy load at that time. A download all button is a good idea I might add it.
imported_peterigzParticipantYes, the only way is to change the shape to one that animates at a slower rate naturally. Once you move the framerate graph to below 30 fps it can get more choppy.
imported_peterigzParticipantHello, the only way to do that would be to write your on c++ particle engine that can load the xml files and use their values, but even then the files only have x and y coords so it would still only be 2d.
