imported_peterigzParticipantHi, do you have your system specs, opp operating system etc.
Has it just starting doing this recently for you?
imported_peterigzParticipantHi, I have this, see if it’s any good π
imported_peterigzParticipantHi, obviously I don’t expect my software to be everyone’s cup of tea. 99% of feedback has been positive but I do listen to all the failings and try to address them as you can see from other posts on here π
Thanks for the feedback, I’ll take them on board and look to incorporate as best I can in future releases. Development has been slow the last few months but I am getting back on to things now so watch this space π
I will point out the software is available as a trial with no obligation to buy, so you should be able to try it out and see if it meets your needs first.
imported_peterigzParticipantSorry completely missed this post! I’ll see if I can improve the font size in the next release π
imported_peterigzParticipantI know I should sort it out really, I’m sure I’ll get around to it soon π
Thanks for the video looks great π
imported_peterigzParticipantCool you’ve been busy!
imported_peterigzParticipantGreat, believe it or not I don’t have a Facebook account! I’ll see If I can sneak a look on someone else’s account π
imported_peterigzParticipantGreat, It’s always good to see how people use my software π
It’s funny I’ve just come here after posting on the monkey forums about creating a monkey module for TimelineFX π
imported_peterigzParticipantHi, it’s not a feature at the moment, but I’ll give it some thought. I’m not entirely sure how possible it is but like I say I shall give it some thought π
imported_peterigzParticipantSorry for the delayed response, basically the short answer currently there is no way of doing this unfortunately. Can’t really think of any workarounds other then making the particles not touch the edges of the side that you don’t want to be seamless.
imported_peterigzParticipantIf you want to reduce the number of frames then you can leave it at 32 frames, but when you click record, change the frame step to 2, this will record every second frame which will reduce the exported animation to 16 frames.
imported_peterigzParticipantHi, thanks for purchasing π to replay an effect just double click on the preview window.
imported_peterigzParticipantHello, I’ve attached an example using the fireplace effect from the library. To achieve this I turned off weight (by setting global weight to 0) I added velocity and velocity overtime to both emitters. Then I set the Emission setting on the effects tab to specific and then set the emission angle attribute to 90 degrees.
Hope that helps!
imported_peterigzParticipantOne way to do it would be to tick the relative check-box on the particle tab of the emitter, and then change the effect angle attribute to 90 degrees. But this may not work the way you want if you don’t the particles to move relative to the effect.
The other way to do it would be to use velocity, not gravity, and set the emission angle to 90 degrees so that it goes out sideways.
Let me know how you get on!
imported_peterigzParticipantHi, I’m not entirely sure I understand what you mean. Do you want the smoke to float up into the air?
