Problem solved by downloading in Opera browser. They downloaded as .eff files. Thanks! Just so you know, the browser I used before, internet explorer 8 on windows vista, was saving as zip files. So yes, it was doing something weird.

Okay, I’ll explain again…There are no .eff library files showing up when I go to load into the open library on my hard drive. The zip files don’t load, and if unzipped, the only files in the folder have these extensions: .png files, xml data, icon, and a tpa files. I have tried downloading the files several times. I don’t have a problem loading the sample library files that come with the software (StarBursts and ExampleEffects). It is only the emitters in the downloads section. They aren’t set up as .eff files, from what I see. I shouldn’t be having a problem with this.

When I go to import library, no zip files show up to import, and nothing in open library, as well. Is there another way to get the zip file into the program?
