Hi I’ve recently purchased the program and I’ve got the basics down so far. I’ve made some simple effects but would like to see more tutorials on more complex effects such as the direction test or space anomaly from the ExampleEFfects library. I enjoy the software so far but it is a little difficult to understand how some things work. I would really appreciate it as I have just started work as a particle artist and would speed up my workflow a lot…thanks š
Hi sorry for the delayed reply. Have you checked out the video tutorials already uploaded? I know that I should do more unfortunately I’m starved of time at the moment so it’s difficult! I’ll take a look at the space anomoly effect and see what I did. I know a lot of those effects were me just experimenting at random and just seeing what happens!
I think that particular effect was me playing with the Velocity Adjuster graph. So while the Velocity of the particles is constant, the velocity adjuster spikes to give that exploding out effect. The effect is looped (on the Effect Tab loop settings) every 3 seconds so it keeps spiking the velocity over and over.
