Hello,
I emailed about this and got a response that it was fixed but I redownloaded the demo and its still the same problem:
I am not able to use symbols at all when trying to input values manually, which of course is a huge complication when I want to set a value to -1 etc. I just hear the default mac restriction beep.
Thanks
Hi jrricky, I just downloaded and tested again to make sure I uploaded the correct version and it seems to be working fine here on my Mac. It was originally allowing numbers only, and I changed it to allow anything. Can you double check that you definitely downloaded and ran the current version on this site? Anyone else seeing the same issue on mac?
Thanks!
Nope, still doesnt work after downloading 5 times, restarting Firefox, clearing cache, restarting macbook, still the same. Are you bug fixing for the full version or the demo one?
I just can’t put any negative values in Particle and Effects Properties tabs…
Ahh i see, I might have been looking in the wrong place! I fixed it for inputting graph values but didn’t think to check the text fields on those tabs. Will fix for those and upload the new version tonight. Sorry for the confusion!
Ahh, yes, I did realize that you fixed the input but i was still under the impression that you did it for everything. Thanks.
Also on that note, did you add a new Particle Attribute called Splatter? I would love to see other attributes like a Shatter effect too. With the fix though, Ill be your new customer. š
Ok, i’ve just uploaded a new version for mac which should sort this issue on the tabs aswell. Let me know how you get on!
Great!! Will download later…
